Azara Magowan-Banister is a dynamic youth global leader and impact activator advancing education, wilderness survival, and environmental stewardship. Based in Montreal, she combines engineering innovation with hands-on conservation leadership.

As an expedition junior leader with Fireside Adventures, Azara has led and supported extended canoe and wilderness youth expeditions, including 500+ mile river journeys through remote northern terrain and Yukon adventure routes. Her field expertise spans outdoor survival, expedition logistics, leadership development, and resilience training for youth.

Azara also serves as a project leader across ocean conservation, biodiversity protection, forest regeneration, food security, and education initiatives. She supports alliance-building efforts with Hector Vargas and the Kichwa Indigenous leadership team in Ecuador, collaborating with their environmental law firm to protect Amazonian ecosystems and advance Indigenous-led conservation strategy.
